Note that the remains of Yegor Osipovich Melyakin were found on December 30, 2017 in the Putilov tract "Hillocks" of the Kirov region of the Leningrad region by the fighters of the search detachment "Suvorov". Subsequently relatives of the fighter who since 1947 live in Chelyabinsk were found. Personal belongings of the deceased soldier were transferred to his grandson Nikolai Bogdashkin.
