Director of the Chelyabinsk Crisis center received an honorary diploma of the President of Russia

In accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation dated 04.05.2018 "on encouragement" for services in the field of social protection of the population and long-term conscientious work, the honorary diploma of the President of the Russian Federation was awarded to the Director of the Crisis center of Chelyabinsk Olga Babanova.

Yesterday, on August 8, she received the award from the hands of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Ural Federal district Nikolai Tsukanov and the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky.

In the system of social protection of the population of Chelyabinsk and Chelyabinsk region this is the first such award - a worthy assessment of the work and professional skills of a person devoted to his work, which is a powerful incentive for all industry professionals.

Olga Babanova has been working in the system of social protection of the population for 28 years, having initiated and implemented many social projects, she is an Honored worker of social protection of the Russian Federation, candidate of pedagogical Sciences. As a successful head of the institution, she is doing a great job to prevent family problems, support the family in difficult circumstances. During her work as the Director of the institution, the number of services provided annually has increased, their quality has improved, effective interaction with interdepartmental units is carried out, new projects are being implemented.

The crisis center of Chelyabinsk is the largest crisis center in the Ural Federal district, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017.

The main objective of the institution is to provide comprehensive assistance to women and their children in situations of violence and to create a safe space for them. The crisis center is one of the effective tools of social assistance; the house in which a woman's life is saved, helps her to forget the fear experienced, to perk up and start a new life.
