Residents of the northern regions of the Chelyabinsk region will be able to watch 20 free TV channels in excellent quality.

The consulting support center of the RTRS branch "Chelyabinsk ORTPTs" informs about the beginning of a test broadcast of the second multiplex TV channels in the north of the Chelyabinsk region. Now residents of 11 settlements of Kusinsky, Kaslinsky, Nyazepetrovsky districts, Verkhneufaleysky and Karabashsky urban districts will be able to watch the TV channels Ren TV, Spas, STS, Domashniy, TV-3, Friday, Zvezda, MIR ", TNT and" Muz TV "in excellent digital quality

In the Chelyabinsk region, the geography of the second multiplex is expanding.

Multiplex is a package of all-Russian mandatory TV channels and radio channels in excellent digital quality, which residents of the country can watch without subscription fees.

Today, 98.94% of residents of the Chelyabinsk region have the opportunity to watch in digital quality the first multiplex TV channels: Channel One, Russia 1, Match TV, NTV, Channel Five, Russia K, Russia 24 , Carousel, OTR and TV Center.

The equipment of the second multiplex works partially. Currently 50 communication facilities are being built, broadcasting the programs of the second multiplex. Thanks to this, about 92% of South Urals can watch the TV channels Ren TV, Spas, STS, Domashniy, TV-3, Friday, Zvezda, MIR, TNT and "Muz TV".

To be able to receive a digital signal, you need a TV or an additional set-top box that supports the digital standard DVB-T2 MPEG 4. Step-by-step instructions prepared by RTRS will help to understand the features of selecting and connecting the set-top box.

There are several reasons why it is worth connecting to the "number" now:

  • 20 channels with no monthly fee;
  • high image and sound quality, noise immunity;
  • ease of setup receiving equipment.

Until the end of the year, radio telecentre engineers will launch all digital transmitters. To celebrate the new year and spend the New Year holidays all residents of the region will be able to have 20 digital channels in the company.

You can learn more about digital television and how to connect on the website SMOTRICIFRU.RF or at the free hotline RTRS 8-800-220-20-02.
